Registry of Acute Myocardial Infarction. REGION-MI - Russian Registry of Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Aim      To study features of diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in Russian hospitals, results of the treatment, and early and late outcomes (6 and 12 months after AMI diagnosis); to evaluate the consistence of the treatment with clinical guidelines; and to evaluate patients' compliance with the treatment.Material and methods  The program was designed for 3 years, including 24 months for recruitment of patients to the study. The study will include 10, 000 patients hospitalized with a confirmed diagnosis (I21 according to ICD-10) of ST segment elevation acute myocardial infarction (MI) (STEMI) or non-ST segment elevation MI (NSTEMI) based on criteria of the European Society of Cardiology Guidelines on Forth Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction (2018).

An 11-year retrospective review of venlafaxine ingestion in children from the California Poison Control System.

Venlafaxine is commonly used in the United States for approved and non-Food and Drug Administration-approved indications in adults. It is used off-label to treat children for psychiatric diagnoses. The aim of the study was to describe venlafaxine toxicities in children and to identify the venlafaxine dose per weight that correlates with toxicities.

[Synthesis and antitumor activity of cyclopropane derivatives of betulinic and betulonic acids].

New cyclopropane derivatives of betulin were synthesized by attachment of dichlorocarbenes or dibromocarbenes to the double bond of betulin diacetate, followed by the deprotection of hydroxyl groups. The betulin cyclopropane derivative was obtained from 20,29-dihydro-20,29-dichloromethylenebetulin by treatment with lithium in tert-butanol. These compounds were converted into the corresponding derivatives of betulonic acid by oxidation with chromium trioxide.

Antiinflammatory effect of russian-made budesonide in experimental noninfectious pulmonary granulomatosis.

We studied the antiinflammatory effect of a Russian-made glucocorticoid budesonide administered by inhalation and intraperitoneal injection to rats with experimental noninfectious pulmonary granulomatosis. The antiinflammatory effects of budesonide at both administration routes were similar. Intraperitoneal injection, in contrast to inhalation, produced a systemic effect manifested in suppression of hyperplasia of non-encapsulated lymphoid formations in the mucosa.
