Rehabilitation Strategies for Post-fasciotomy Recovery in Acute Spreading Cellulitis: A Case Report.

Cellulitis is a skin condition that affects both the dermis and the subcutaneous fat. Acute compartment syndrome has been associated with streptococcal infection. The present case highlights the role of physiotherapy in rehabilitating a patient suffering from compartment syndrome due to cellulitis.

Novel omeprazole delayed release orally disintegrating tablets for enhanced patient compliance: a case of model informed formulation development.

The advanced simulation tools, such as physiologically based biopharmaceutics models (PBBM) or physiologically based pharmacokinetic models (PBPK), play critical role in model informed formulation development. This approach has been successfully implemented in the present case for development of novel omeprazole delayed-release orally disintegrating tablets (ODT) formulation, aimed to enhance patient compliance.PBBM was developed using physicochemical, biopharmaceutical, and dissolution data.

A survey of the prevalence and patterns of neuropsychological assessment practices across epilepsy surgery centers in India: Toward establishing a national guideline.

Neuropsychology plays an important role in optimizing epilepsy management, but there are no practice guidelines for low- and middle-income countries with emerging services. The National Epilepsy Surgery Support Activity Network (NESSAN), a national working group that supports and optimizes epilepsy surgery programs in India, explored the present status of pre- and post epilepsy surgery neuropsychological assessment practices across India as an initial step in developing national evidence-based test guidelines. An online survey was conducted using two questionnaires, one for neurologists and the second for neuropsychologists and speech-language pathologists working in epilepsy surgery centers.

Enhancing Tone and Strength in a Patient With Autoimmune Encephalitis and Guillain-Barré Syndrome Using Rood's Facilitatory Techniques and Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation: A Case Report.

This case report documents the comprehensive management of a 21-year-old female resident of Gadchiroli presenting with a 10-day history of fever, altered consciousness, and neurological sequelae following a traumatic incident. The patient exhibited a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 6/15, hypotonia in both upper and lower limbs, diminished deep tendon reflexes, and respiratory complications. This case study describes a thorough physiotherapeutic strategy that focuses on tone facilitation and muscle weakness improvement.

Spinal Cord Infarction Thrombolysed at Seven Hours: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

We report a case of acute spinal cord infarction treated with intravenous (IV) thrombolysis at seven hours from symptom onset. Nineteen previously thrombolysed cases are reviewed. The patient underwent a clinical assessment, followed by an MRI of the spine.
