Two-dimensional neutral/neutral gel-electrophoresis (2DGE) emerged as a benchmark technique to analyze DNA replication through natural impediments. This protocol describes how to analyze replication fork progression through structure-prone, expandable DNA repeats within the simian virus 40 (SV40)-based episome in human cells. In brief, upon plasmid transfection into human cells, replication intermediates are isolated by the modified Hirt protocol and treated with the DpnI restriction enzyme to remove non-replicated DNA.

KISS-Keep It Static SLAMMOT-The Cost of Integrating Moving Object Tracking into an EKF-SLAM Algorithm.

The treatment of moving objects in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is a key challenge in contemporary robotics. In this paper, we propose an extension of the EKF-SLAM algorithm that incorporates moving objects into the estimation process, which we term KISS. We have extended the robotic vision toolbox to analyze the influence of moving objects in simulations.

The long-term impact of an antimicrobial stewardship program in febrile neutropenia: an 8 years follow up.

Purpose: To describe the long-term effects of an ASP among febrile neutropenia (FN) patients.

Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted between 2015 and 2023 at a tertiary care hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye. The ASP was implemented for FN patients, and the effects were assessed before and after the ASP interventions, which included FN clinical pathways and regular multi-disciplinary meetings with relevant healthcare workers.
