The role of information communication technologies as a moderator of knowledge creation and knowledge sharing in improving the quality of healthcare services.

This study examines the role of knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and information communication technologies, which are organizational factors that influence the quality of healthcare services. In today's knowledge-intensive environment, understanding and gaining in-depth knowledge on how to improve the quality of healthcare services is gaining in importance and recognition. Quantitative data collected in 2019 with 151 respondents employed in healthcare organizations was used.

Inhibition of copper-induced lipid peroxidation by sinapic acid and its derivatives in correlation to their effect on the membrane structural properties.

The efficiencies of sinapic acid and its derivatives syringic acid, syringaldehyde, three sinapoyl esters (ethyl, propyl, butyl sinapates), 4-vinylsyringol and sinapine were investigated for prevention of lipid peroxidation in correlation with their interactions with model lipid membrane systems. Significant antioxidant activities of propyl and butyl sinapates were seen by fluorimetric assay in phosphatidylcholine liposomes as model membrane using C11-BODIPY lipophilic fluorescent probe. The sinapic acid esters also had the highest impact on membrane structural properties, as observed by differential scanning calorimetry and fluorescence polarisation measurements.

Pseudoepitheliomatous, keratotic and micaceous balanitis. Case report and review of the literature.

A case of pseudoepitheliomatous, keratotic and micaceous balanitis (PEKMB) in a 64-year old man is presented. The patient presented with the 2-year history of a slowly enlarging, hyperkeratotic plaque on his glans penis that was compatible with a clinical diagnosis of PEKMB. The lesion has been treated successfully with tropical 5-fluorouracil cream, with no evidence of recurrence at 2-year follow-up.
