Establishing structure-mechanical property relationships is crucial for understanding and engineering the performance of pharmaceutical molecular crystals. In this study, we employed nanoindentation, a powerful technique that can probe mechanical properties at the nanoscale, to investigate the hardness and elastic modulus of single crystals of succinic acid and L-alanine. Nanoindentation results reveal distinct mechanical behaviors between the two compounds, with L-alanine exhibiting significantly higher hardness and elastic modulus compared to succinic acid.

Antibodies and their conjugates of fluorescent labels are widely applied in life sciences research and clinical pathology. Among diverse label types, compact quantum dots (QDs) provide advantages of multispectral multiplexing, bright signals in the deep red and infrared, and low steric hindrance. However, QD-antibody conjugates have random orientation of the antigen-binding domain which may interfere with labeling and are large (20-30 nm) and heterogeneous, which limits penetration into biospecimens.

Introduction: Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) is achieved by advancing the lead tip deep in the septum. Most LBBAP implants are performed using the Medtronic SelectSecure™ MRI SecureScan™ Model 3830 featuring a unique 4 Fr fixed helix lumenless design. Details of lead use conditions and long-term reliability have not been reported.

Introduction: Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) is a novel physiological pacing modality. The relationship between the pacing lead tip location and paced electrocardiographic (ECG) characteristics remains unclear. The objectives are to determine the lead tip location within the interventricular septum (IVS) and assess the location-based ECG QRS duration (QRSd) and left ventricular activation time (LVAT).
