Efficacy of Digital Health Interventions Used for Adolescent's Sexual Health: An Umbrella Review.

Background And Aims: Adolescents face many barriers and challenges associated with sexual and reproductive health (SRH). These barriers can include limited access to youth-friendly healthcare services, lack of information, and stigma. Digital health interventions has the capability to enhance clinical management.

Evaluation of cumulative exposures to multiple pesticide residues in three characteristic fruits in the Northwest of Iran: a risk assessment using Monte Carlo Simulation.

This study was conducted to monitor and evaluate the health risks of multiple organophosphorus pesticide residues in three characteristic fruits of Maragheh district, East Azerbaijan province. The Monte Carlo method was used to quantify the possible non-carcinogenic health risks associated with pesticide residues in adults and children. The residues of 17 pesticides in 36 samples were analysed using the QuEChERS extraction method coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS).

The increasing demand for advanced biomaterials in nerve tissue engineering presents numerous challenges due to the complexity of nerve tissues and the need for materials that can accurately replicate their intricate structure and function. In response, this study introduces a novel injectable hydrogel that is thermosensitive, self-healing, and conductive, offering promising potential for heart and nerve tissue engineering applications. The hydrogel is based on collagen and hyaluronic acid functionalized with 3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane (APTES)-grafted oxidized bacterial cellulose and gold nanoparticles (~50 nm).

A multi-institutional meningioma MRI dataset for automated multi-sequence image segmentation.

Meningiomas are the most common primary intracranial tumors and can be associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Radiologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, and radiation oncologists rely on brain MRI for diagnosis, treatment planning, and longitudinal treatment monitoring. However, automated, objective, and quantitative tools for non-invasive assessment of meningiomas on multi-sequence MR images are not available.

Pregnancy-related complications in patients with endometriosis in different stages.

Background: Endometriosis is one of the most common and costly diseases among women. This study was carried out to investigate pregnancy outcomes in women with endometriosis because of the high prevalence of endometriosis in reproductive ages and its effect on pregnancy-related complications outcomes.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study performed on 379 pregnant women with endometriosis who were referred to the endometriosis clinic of the Avicenna Infertility Treatment Center from 2014 to 2020.
