Indium phosphide nanowires (InP NWs) are accessible at 440 °C from a novel vapor phase deposition approach from crystalline InP sources in hydrazine atmospheres containing 3 mol % H₂O. Uniform zinc blende (ZB) InP NWs with diameters around 20 nm and lengths up to several tens of micrometers are preferably deposited on Si substrates. InP particle sizes further increase with the deposition temperature.

The aim of the study was to examine whether the postpsychotic decline in IQ during schizophrenia are due to a dementing process and psychopathological deterioration or this is a state independent premorbid impairment. The IQ score of 32 schizophrenic patients and 25 normal comparison subjects were evaluated three times during an average of 4,5 years, after short (mean 2,3 years) and long (mean 4,6) follow-up periods. The regression analysis was used to evaluate the association of clinical symptoms and IQ scores at the different period of time.

At the CC (beta) chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2) and CCR5 loci, combinations of common single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and a 32-bp deletion (Delta32) form nine stable haplotypes (designated A through G*2). The distribution of these CCR2-CCR5 haplotypes was examined among 703 participants in the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (MACS), the District of Columbia Gay (DCG) Study, and the San Francisco Men's Health Study (SFMHS).
