To reduce chronic school absenteeism and morbidity and mortality among school-aged children, the prompt administration of albuterol sulfate in schools remains vital. School-based stock inhaler programs are a practical approach to ensure equitable access to life-saving rescue medication for students. School and community partnerships can potentially strengthen program implementation and fidelity by integrating evidence-based practices into routine care.

From ideation to real context of use of a digital solution to promote physical and cognitive training for older adults.

This study describes the process of designing and developing the user interface of a digital solution aiming to promote physical and cognitive training (DanceMove) and testing for its usability by community-dwelling older adults. This study is subdivided into four phases: (i) concept and ideation, (ii) design and development of the prototype, (iii) testing of the functional mock-ups, and (iv) testing of the prototype in the laboratory and in the real context of use. Through the different phases of the study technological and healthcare professionals and users were involved.

Effectiveness of Integrated Digital Solutions to Empower Older Adults in Aspects Related to Their Health: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

Background: Digital solutions, such as mobile apps or telemonitoring devices, are frequently considered facilitators in the process of empowering older adults, but they can also act as a source of digital exclusion or disempowerment if they are not adequate for older adults' needs and characteristics.

Objective: This study aimed to synthesize and critically evaluate existing evidence on the effectiveness of integrated digital solutions that enable interaction for empowering older adults in aspects related to their health and to explore potential factors (eg, type of technology, participants' characteristics) impacting effectiveness.

Methods: A systematic search was carried out in PubMed, ScienceDirect, SCOPUS, EBSCO, and SciELO using a combination of terms informed by previous reviews on empowerment.

MonitoraSB: an innovation for monitoring and strengthening oral health in primary health care in Brazil.

Objective: This study describes the methodology used in the development of MonitoraSB, an innovation in the field of evaluating and monitoring oral health services in primary health care (PHC) in Brazil, and it discusses its characteristics and possible uses.

Methods: MonitoraSB includes a matrix of indicators and digital tools, developed in collaboration with oral health team dentists and oral health managers. The indicators evaluate the provision and management of oral health services and were developed on the basis of the model for evaluating the effectiveness of oral health care.

Overprescription of antibiotics in Brazilian dental clinics: an evaluation of current practices.

The use of antibiotics by dentist surgeons faces a lack of consensus among professionals and researchers, whether in relation to prophylaxis, or at least regarding the real need for their use. Recent studies increasingly question the use of prophylactic antibiotic therapy in healthy patients. This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge of dentist surgeons working in offices across Brazil regarding antibiotic use protocols and antibiotic resistance.
