Background: The prognosis of multiple myeloma involving the central nervous system (CNS-MM) is poor. We report outcomes of CNS-MM treated with CNS-directed radiation therapy (RT).
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients with CNS-MM treated with CNS-directed RT from 2015 to 2024.
Acetaldehyde is the primary metabolite of alcohol and is present in many environmental sources including tobacco smoke. Acetaldehyde is genotoxic, whereby it can form DNA adducts and lead to mutagenesis. Individuals with defects in acetaldehyde clearance pathways have increased susceptibility to alcohol-associated cancers.

Bimetallic PdPt nanoparticles were synthesized using the wet chemical method and characterized using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The morphologies, chemical bonds, functional groups, and mechanical properties of the fabricated membranes were characterized using various techniques.
