[Relationship between endothelial dysfunction and mechanisms of systemic inflammation in left heart remodeling in patients with bronchial asthma].

The aim of the work was to study clinical and pathophysiological features of endothelial dysfunction, structural and functional state of the left heart in patients with bronchial asthma (BA). The study included 290 patients. 250 of them presented with moderate or severe BA during exacerbation and within 12 months after the onset of observation, 40 healthy volunteers served as controls.

[Characteristics of clinical features of tick-borne encephalitis in Crimea].

The analysis of data collected from the clinical epidemiological and virological surveys in 1985-1988 on the incidence of arbovirus infection in population provided evidence for circulation of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) virus in the Crimea. Etiological relevance of TBE virus in the onset of the diseases was revealed. Clinical picture of TBE in the Crimea is characterized by severe forms and diphasic fever with the relapse running more grave and protracted course.

[A flow laser analyzer of erythrocyte deformability].

The analyser of erythrocyte deformation has been worked out, it allows one to obtain the distribution of the cells according to the deformation degree. The analyser consists of optic electronic block, sample insert unit, signal transformation unit and the information processing unit. The analyser is based on the principle of the small angle light dispersion of laser radiation registration made on each erythrocyte of the population, which was extended due to the influence of the shift efforts when the cell is passing through the narrow measuring capillary.
