GPCR-based fluorescent sensors are widely used to correlate neuromodulatory signaling with brain function. While experiments in transfected cells often reveal selectivity for individual neurotransmitters, sensor specificity in the brain frequently remains uncertain. Pursuing experiments in brain slices and in vivo, we find that norepinephrine and dopamine cross-activate the respective sensors.

To optimize engagement, initiating small behaviors that build upon existing practices congruent with individuals' lifestyles may promote sustainable wellness behavior change. In this study, we crowd-sourced helpful, flexible, and engaging wellness practices to identify a list of those commonly used for improving sleep, productivity, and physical, emotional, and social wellness from participants who felt they had been successful in these dimensions.

Background: The use of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) was significantly reduced following the publication of the Women's Health Initiative study results and has remained low ever since. However, from 2015 onwards, the UK has seen a substantial increase in MHT prescribing compared to other European countries.
Objectives: To evaluate the factors contributing to the shift in women's and healthcare professionals' (HCPs) perception of MHT in the United Kingdom and to provide learning points for other European countries.
