Studies investigating the potential benefits of intranasal oxytocin (INOT) as an add-on treatment for patients with severe mental illness (SMI) have yielded inconsistent results, potentially due to sex differences in response to INOT. This study explored the differential effects of INOT among male and female patients with SMI. A secondary analysis was conducted on a previously studied group of patients who participated in a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluating the impact of INOT as an add-on treatment for patients with SMI.

Patients And Methods: The ALTTO trial (NCT00490139) is a prospective randomized, phase III, open-label, multicenter study that investigated the role of adjuvant chemotherapy and trastuzumab alone, in combination or sequentially with lapatinib.
Data on using the 21-gene Recurrence Score (RS) testing on second breast cancer (BC; second primary or local recurrence) are lacking. This cohort study examined patients with first and second BC, who underwent 21-gene testing both times. It included a 'study-cohort' (60 N0/N1mi/N1 ER + HER2‒ BC patients with ≥2 RS results >1 year apart) and a 'general 21-gene-tested BC-cohort' (2044 previously described N0/N1mi/N1 patients).

The value of TBS in predicting fractures and the effects of bone-active drugs on TBS in aromatase inhibitors (AIs)-induced osteoporosis are still largely unknown. The primary objective of this retrospective study was to assess the effects of denosumab and bisphosphonates (BPs) on TBS and vertebral fractures (VFs) in women exposed to AIs.
