Identification of Middle Mesial Canal in Mandibular Molars Using Five Different Techniques: An Study.

Aim: The purpose of the study was to find out the incidence of the middle mesial canal in mandibular molars by using five different techniques.

Materials And Methods: A total of 150 extracted human mandibular first molars were selected, and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images were taken. Then, conventional access cavities were made, followed by troughing under dental loupes (3X), and were also examined under a dental operating microscope (DOM) (6X).

Effect of four direct pulp capping agents on human dental pulp tissue.

The in-vitro influence of urea concentration on thromboelastrography in patients with and without end stage renal disease.

Background: End stage renal disease (ESRD) is associated with platelet dysfunction but also thromboembolic complications. The specific role of increased blood urea nitrogen (BUN) on coagulation is unclear. We aimed to characterize thromboelastography (TEG) parameters from males and females with ESRD and normal kidney function and evaluate if exogenous urea in vitro reproduced those TEG differences.

Atorvastatin Effect on Clopidogrel Efficacy in Patients with Peripheral Artery Disease.

Background: Both clopidogrel and atorvastatin metabolism are rooted in hepatic cytochrome p450 activation. There are published reports of atorvastatin interfering with clopidogrel metabolism by inhibiting the activation of clopidogrel. This in turn would decrease the therapeutic effect of clopidogrel potentially resulting in an increase in thrombotic events in patients who are taking both medications.
