Objective: To examine the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance exchanges (Marketplace) on the rate of uninsured discharges in Texas.
Data Source And Study Setting: Secondary discharge data from 2011 to 2019 from Texas.
Study Design: We conducted a retrospective study estimating the effects of the ACA Marketplace using difference-in-difference regressions, with the main outcome being the uninsured discharge rate.
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a global health issue with various effects on the physical and mental state of the societies. The aim of this study was to identify the demographic characteristics and mental health condition of Tehran Municipality employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on Tehran Municipality employees in 2020-2021.
Background: Along with a global increase in the prevalence of infectious and non-communicable diseases, self-care with an emphasis on reproductive health Self-care has received special attention. Given the importance of women's health, assessment of their self-care status using a valid and reliable tool seems to be necessary to determine the needs for future women's reproductive health promotion interventions. The present study aimed to assess the women's self-care at reproductive age in Tehran, to determine women's health needs based on global guidelines for women's health.
