To improve the results of treatment of locally advanced malignant tumors we performed different types of combined radio- and chemotherapy, which are mostly applied in neo- and/or adjuvant or parallel regimens, and have significant toxic effect on hemopoiesis. For the last years we have used dicarbamin, a natural hemoprotector from the group of pseudopeptides. Good outcomes have been achieved in its ability to reduce frequency of hematological complications in patients with locally advanced lung cancer and Hodgkin's disease treated by combined radio- and chemotherapy.

The blood from 35 apparently healthy women served as a control. The magnitude of changes in MVNe and in the intensity of MSNe was found to increase in patients when the level of WBC and the content of neutrophils were elevated.

With progression of the tumour process developing under conditions of chlamydial infection the intensity of the increase of enzyme activity decreased.

Levels of alpha-amylase and acid phosphatase were measured in saliva and blood serum of patients with oral cancer and healthy subjects. The activity of LDH and alkaline and acid phosphatase in oral malignancies were 1.
