Basic trends of morbidity by infectious diseases and the state of vaccine prevention has been studied in different developed and developing countries including Georgia. For analysis all the available special literature and internet materials concerning Georgian population were worked out. Analysis of the organization of the vaccination in our country proved that vaccine prevention of the infectious disease must be carried out not only in children but in adult population as well.

The aim of our study was to study the effectiveness of ACCUPRO on structural and hemodynamic indices in patients with heart failure. 37 patients aged 61-84 years with postinfarction cardiosclerosis and mild or moderate hypertension, class I-III heart failure received Accupro (13,7+/-0,97 mg/day) for 3 months in combination with furosemide (40-80 mg 1-3 times a week).
