We have developed an in vitro model of microvascular networks with tumor spheroids or patient tissues to assess monocyte trafficking into tumors and evaluate immunotherapies targeting the human tumor microenvironment.

The article presents the results of analysis of actual system of medical support of industrial enterprises and consumer estimate of accessibility o and quality of organization of medical examinations during dispensarization. The new form of complex medical examinations is proposed combining capacity of programs of examination of periodical medical check-ups of workers of enterprises and the first stage of dispensarization implemented on the basis of of integrated medical organization according to developed regulations. On the basis of increasing coverage of workers with measures of dispensarization the economic efficiency of complex medical examinations at the expense of decreasing of economic burden of chronic non-infectious diseases is substantiated.

Here, we show that ELF4/MEF, a member of the ETS family of transcription factors, contributes to the persistence of γH2AX DNA damage foci and promotes the DNA damage response leading to the induction of apoptosis. Conversely, the absence of ELF4 promotes the faster repair of damaged DNA and more rapid disappearance of γH2AX foci in response to γ-irradiation, leading to a radio-resistant phenotype despite normal ATM phosphorylation.

L3MBTL1 is a human homolog of the Drosophila polycomb L(3)MBT tumor suppressor protein and thus a candidate tumor suppressor in del(20q12) myeloid disorders. We used the loss-of-function approach to explore the possible tumor suppressive mechanism of L3MBTL1 and found that depletion of L3MBTL1 from human cells causes replicative stress, DNA breaks, activation of the DNA damage response, and genomic instability.
