Objective: Japan has a system of occupational therapy programs known as self-reliance training (training for daily living), which helps people with various disabilities lead more meaningful lives. Recently, it has been shown that green care farms are beneficial for dementia care and that agricultural and horticultural work has a positive impact on people with intellectual disabilities and mental disorders. This study examined the health-improving effects of farm activities and developed an attractive program for adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities who use independent training facilities.

Risk factors include communicating segment aneurysms, aneurysmal shape, and technical factors. Although cerebral blood flow obstruction caused by early coil migration requires urgent coil removal, delayed coil migration is often asymptomatic, making it difficult to determine a treatment strategy.

This study describes high-energy x-ray focusing optics using compound refractive lenses (CRLs) for high-pressure x-ray diffraction (XRD) with a monochromatic x-ray beam. A CRL-based x-ray transfocator was upgraded and installed in the optics hutch at the BL10XU beamline of SPring-8. The instrument can be equipped with two types of CRLs in parallel: a newly designed aluminum (Al) CRL for x-ray energies of 40-62 keV and an existing glassy carbon CRL for those up to 40 keV.

Phase transitions into GdFeO-type or NaIO-type structures generally observed in LiNbO-type compounds below 30 GPa were not detected in CuNbO even at the maximum experimental pressure, 32.4 GPa.
