Despite recent drug approvals for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs), there remains a high unmet need for new technologies that can increase drug efficacy by improving site-specific drug delivery while reducing systemic exposure. These technologies must address challenges with formulation; in particular, drugs that are liquid, peptides, or proteins are difficult to formulate using existing delayed and extended oral release technologies. They also have the potential to improve efficacy and reduce systemic exposure for certain drugs by delivering higher doses directly to the site of inflammation.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the application of thrombolytic treatment in central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO), its real benefit, safety and possible indications for treatment.
Methods: We searched the PubMed, Cochrane and Google Scholar databases delving first into the effectiveness of the traditional treatment for CRAO, and then comparing them with new treatment strategies with intra venous or intra arterial fibrinolysis.
Results: Whereas small retrospective and open-label observational trials support the use of thrombolytic therapy, multicenter randomized trials failed to demonstrate a significant visual improvement with this new strategy.
Background And Objectives: Indonesia's community health delivery system offers services such as prenatal care and supplementation. Despite accessibility to these services, compliance with supplementation is low, and childhood stunting rates remain high. To address undernutrition, a National Nutrition Communication Campaign (NNCC) - using interpersonal communication (IPC) strategies - was implemented to promote consumption of iron-folic acid (IFA) supplements and iron-rich foods (ATIKA).

The benefits of this species are, however, limited by low seed availability, small seed size and low in situ seed germination levels, due to physical dormancy. Cryostorage has been shown to be beneficial for both seed storage and breaking physical dormancy in seeds of various species.

Successful translation of genomic medicine into clinical care will require that providers of this information are aware of the level of understanding, attitudes, perceived risks, benefits, and concerns of their patients. We used a mixed methods approach to conduct in-depth interviews with participants in the NCI-funded Breast Cancer Family Registry (BCFR).
