A novel lentiviral scFv display library for rapid optimization and selection of high affinity antibodies.

Antibody display libraries have become a popular technique to screen monoclonal antibodies for therapeutic purposes. An important aspect of display technology is to generate an optimization library by changing antibody affinity to antigen through mutagenesis and screening the high affinity antibody. In this study, we report a novel lentivirus display based optimization library antibody in which Agtuzumab scFv is displayed on cell membrane of HEK-293T cells.

Cytomegalovirus Enterocolitis in a Term Neonate.

Background: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) enterocolitis is rare in term neonates.

Case Characteristics: A term newborn with persistent pneumonia from birth developed enterocolitis on day 18 of life.

Outcome: Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for CMV DNA was positive in urine sample.

Prevalence of nasal carriers of methicillin-resistant among dental students: An study.

Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of nasal carriage of coagulase positive methicillin-resistant (MRSA) among dental students.

Materials And Methods: Four hundred dental students, divided into two groups - undergraduates (200) and postgraduates (200), were screened using sterile cotton swabs for carriage of MRSA in anterior nares. The samples were inoculated on HiCrome MeReSa Agar Base-with cefoxitin supplement.
