To reduce the need for skilled clinicians in heart sound interpretation, recent studies on automating cardiac auscultation have explored deep learning approaches. However, despite the demands for large data for deep learning, the size of the heart sound datasets is limited, and no pre-trained model is available. On the contrary, many pre-trained models for general audio tasks are available as general-purpose audio representations.

It is, however, unclear whether glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is involved in the antihyperglycemic effects of TFs. We demonstrate that TFs suppress postprandial hyperglycemia by stimulating GLP-1 secretion in mice.

Telehealth is the provision of healthcare that is provided remotely through telecommunication technology, and virtual supervision is clinical supervision of health professions trainees (HPTs) that occurs through telecommunication technology. In this study we evaluate participation in telehealth and virtual supervision for physician, nursing, and associated health HPTs, and describe prevalent themes concerning HPT perceptions of telehealth and virtual supervision.

Eosinophilic asthma, characterized by cytokine-mediated type 2 inflammation, is generally treated with inhaled corticosteroids. However, patients with severe asthma may require biologics, such as mepolizumab, which targets IL-5 and can manage uncontrolled eosinophilic asthma.
