Budget Impact Analysis of Integrative Medicine Practices for Pediatric Patients with Chronic Pain.

Objectives: Chronic pain is a leading cause of morbidity in children and adolescents globally but can be managed with a combination of traditional Western medicine and integrative medicine (IM) practices. This combination has improved various critical health outcomes, such as quality-of-life, sleep, pain, anxiety, and healthcare utilization. These IM practices include acupuncture, yoga, biofeedback, massage, mindfulness, or any combination of these modalities.

Multivariate filter methods for feature selection with the -metric.

Background: The -metric value is generally used as the importance score of a feature (or a set of features) in a classification context. This study aimed to go further by creating a new methodology for multivariate feature selection for classification, whereby the -metric is associated with a specific search direction (and therefore a specific stopping criterion). As three search directions are used, we effectively created three distinct methods.

Targeting schema change in social anxiety via autobiographical memory reconstruction.

Negative self-schemas are fundamental to social anxiety disorder and contribute to its persistence, thus understanding how to change schemas is of critical importance. Memory-based interventions and associated theories propose that reconstructing autobiographical memories tethered to schemas with conceptual details that challenge the associated expectations will lead to schema change. Here, we test this proposal in a between-subjects behavioural experiment with undergraduate participants with social anxiety.

The role of intersectoral collaboration and continuous stakeholder engagement in the implementation of the BornFyne PNMS project in Cameroon.

Background: The process of stakeholder engagement in the implementation of a digital health platform is vital, especially in low-resourced countries like Cameroon, where the digital health ecosystem is still emerging. Stakeholder engagement can make meaningful contributions to a project allowing for increased project visibility and reach, uptake, acceptability, and sustainability. However, collaboration among stakeholders during stakeholder engagement cannot be implied.

How does the Vietnamese stock market react when the Fed gives an announcement in time at the zero lower bound?

This study analyzes the impact of US's UMP announcements on the Vietnamese stock market during the 2008 GFC and COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing an event study methodology, it examines both market-wide and sectors-specific stock reactions. The findings reveal overall positive market responses to UMP news in both periods, but with notable differences across industries and crises.
