High-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), the most lethal epithelial ovarian cancer subtype, faces persistent challenges despite advances in the therapeutic use of PARP inhibitors. Thus, innovative strategies are urgently needed to improve survival rates for this deadly disease. Purpose: Understanding quality of life (QOL) implications of individual components of breast cancer treatment is important as systemic therapies continue to improve oncologic outcomes. We aimed to derive quantitative evidence regarding these models from the study of population data of balance points of different parameters and their respective controlling hormones. We studied the slopes of correlations between concentrations of circulating free thyroxine and thyrotropin, calcium and parathyroid hormone, hemoglobin and erythropoietin, and glucose and insulin in such population data, as well as the slopes of the limbs of various feedback loops estimated empirically and by reverse engineering of the population data.
