[To become a "bioethicist"?].

To date, there is no consensus on the definition of bioethics. As a multidisciplinarv reflection by essence, it is not clear yet if it is a "specialty" or an approach. Bioethics teaching is not widespread and far from being standardized.

This observation relates an exceptional case of gastrointestinal myiasis in a 15 year-old rural Moroccan girl. She was admitted for abdominal pain, hematemesis, and worm vomitting. The parasitologic identification revealed Sarcophaga hemorrhoidalis.

In an open pilot study, 12 children with tinea capitis were treated for 6 weeks with oral terbinafine (125 mg/day), and followed up 2 weeks later. The study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of terbinafine. All patients were completely cured at the end of the treatment period, and there was no evidence of relapse at follow-up.
