Unlabelled: Diaphragm dysfunction develops in central nervous system damage, chest injuries, complications of cardiac surgery, long-term artificial lung ventilation, respiratory diseases. Anatomical morphological features of phrenic nerves allow to effectively use electromagnetic stimulation methods for functional recovery of the diaphragm in different pathological conditions. Invasive and non-invasive, electric and magnetic methods of stimulation are used depending on the severity of manifestations of the diaphragm dysfunction and its genesis.

Introduction: In patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), co-occurring spondyloarthritis (SpA) leads to poorer outcomes and impaired quality of life, highlighting the importance of early detection and effective treatment. This is the first study to assess the prevalence and distribution of axial symptoms and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-detected involvement of the spine and sacroiliac joints (SIJs) in early IBD.

Methods: Newly diagnosed patients with IBD from a prospective, population-based cohort were consecutively recruited.

Background: The Spondyloarthritis Research Consortium of Canada (SPARCC) developers have created web-based calibration modules for the SPARCC MRI sacroiliac joint (SIJ) scoring methods. We aimed to test the impact of applying these e-modules on the feasibility and reliability of these methods.

Methods: The SPARCC-SIJ e-modules contain cases with baseline and follow-up scans and an online scoring interface.
