[Comparative investigation of mesenchymal stem cells isolated from the bone marrow and embryonic liver of mouse and rat].

We studied the properties of cells forming fibroblast colonies from the bone marrow and embryonic liver of mouse and rat. Bone marrow and embryonic liver cells formed colonies in vitro including fibroblasts as well as a considerable proportion of macrophages. The colonies formed from bone marrow and hepatic cells of rat differed from the murine ones by a higher proportion of fibroblasts.

[Differentiation of pluripotent embryonic stem cells in peritoneal cavity of irradiated mice].

We studied the behavior and differentiation of pluripotent embryonic stem cells of R1 mice in vivo. Undifferentiated embryonic stem cells and differentiating embryoid bodies grafted in abdominal cavity of the irradiated mice were shown to form tumors with derivatives of all germinal layers. Cells of the embryoid bodies form tumors two weeks after the grafting, while the undifferentiated embryonic stem cells form tumors only by week three.

[The use of the "internal autotransfusion" method in complex shock-control measures at the prehospital stage].

Fifty-three patients with traumatic shock were injected 200-400 ml of a 10% solution of sodium chloride in combination with 100 ml of the 40% solution of glucose. The continuous, for 1-2 h, elevation of arterial pressure, increased minute blood circulation volume, cardiac index, stroke volume were noted. At the same time base deficiency in blood was growing.

[Ketalar anesthesia in the first-aid stage with the victims of severe injury and traumatic shock].

The article presents the first experience with the use of steroid anesthetic drug Ketalar in patients with severe mechanical trauma and traumatic shock at the prehospital stage. The technique employed and its influence upon some indices of the patient's state are described. The positive effect of Ketalar upon hemodynamics of patients with a critical trauma is noted.
