Aims: The utility of fenestrated-endovascular aneurysm repair (FEVAR) remains uncertain. This study examines the medium term outcomes of patients undergoing FEVAR for asymptomatic juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).

In response to a rapidly aging population that is living longer with more chronic health needs, increased recruitment and successful retention of home care aides is essential. Insight into the job experiences of Personal Support Specialists is provided through the qualitative findings from a mixed-method mail survey (n = 131). Workers described reasons why they do their jobs (feeling rewarded, valuing helping, and being energized by home care work) as well as the challenges they face providing home care (low wages, along with a lack of benefits, respect, and recognition).

Coil embolization of the internal iliac artery (IIA) is used to extend the application of endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) in cases of challenging iliac anatomy. Pelvic ischemia is a complication of the technique, but reports vary as to the rate and severity. This study reports our experience with IIA embolization and compares the results to those of other published series.
