Two dogs presented with progressive, expansile and invasive lesions on a hind paw. Case 1, a 10-year-old female Shetland sheepdog had diffusive and aggressive-looking lesions on the middle digits of the left hind paw. Radiographic examination showed invasion into and destruction of the underlying bone.

Driving Skills of Individuals With and Without Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia).

Learning to drive is a significant event for the transition to adulthood and delay or avoidance may have social, practical, and psychological implications. For those with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia), driving presents a considerable challenge, and the literature shows that there are differences in driving ability between individuals with and without DCD. The aim of the current research is to further our understanding of the mechanisms underlying the driving experiences of individuals with DCD.

Fibrocartilaginous Embolic Encephalopathy in a Pig.

A 1-year-old boar was investigated after presenting with acute onset collapse and obtundance. No significant gross lesions were observed at post-mortem examination. Histopathological investigation revealed a severe bilateral and multifocal necrotizing encephalopathy with an amorphous material, which obstructed neuroparenchymal vessels in the metencephalon and mesencephalon.

The presence of a dermatological condition may deter contact with the affected person because it falsely signals the threat of infection. The current study investigated interpersonal aversion towards individuals with the appearance of acne and psoriasis. Participants (N = 196) either viewed a female face with the appearance of acne, psoriasis, or no visible dermatological condition.

Systemic necrotizing polyarteritis in three weaned lambs from one flock.

Systemic necrotizing polyarteritis was diagnosed in three 7-11-mo-old lambs from the same flock. Aneurysmal dilation and rupture of the gastroduodenal artery in 1 lamb resulted in fatal hemorrhage. All lambs had severe necrotizing vasculitis involving the small intestine, abomasum, mesentery, kidney, and heart with concurrent lymphocytic enteritis.
