The honeybee ectoparasite Varroa destructor is a major threat to apiculture when evaluating bee diseases and pests. Introduction/background: The monocyte-to-high-density lipoprotein (HDL) ratio (MHR) and carotid intima media thickness may be used as a marker of inflammation and oxidative stres. This study is aimed to investigate the role of MHR in etiopathogenesis and to determine the association between MHR and carotid intima media thickness, fracture risk, and quality of life (QoL) in postmenopausal osteoporosis patients without comorbidities.
