Background: One of the most important challenges in medical education is the preparation of multiple-choice questions able to discriminate between students with different academic level. Average questions may be very easy for students with good performance, reducing their discriminant power in this group of students. The aim of this study was to analyze if the discriminative power of multiple-choice questions is different according to the students' academic performance.

The main route for AA production utilizes benzene as feedstock and generates copious amounts of the greenhouse gas NO. Hence, alternative clean production routes for AA from renewable bio-based feedstock are drawing increasing attention.

Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted from 2006 to January 2019 in a single academic medical center of cancer patients with stage IV disease who suffered acute severe complications. The Simplified Acute Physiology Score 3 (SAPS 3) was used as a prognostic and severity score.

The entorhinal cortex is one of the first cortical areas affected by Alzheimer's disease; its neurons are especially vulnerable to neurofibrillary tangles. Entorhinal atrophy also relates to the conversion from non-clinical to clinical Alzheimer's disease.
