Helminthologia
December 2024
This study aims to investigate the soil-transmitted helminth infection among school-age children in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted from July to November 2023 in selected elementary schools in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia. Methods: In this study, we encapsulated CLY in a bacteria sensitive microparticle system (MP-CLY) using polycaprolactone (PCL) polymer.
Diabetes mellitus can cause diabetic foot infection (DFI) complications. DFI is generally caused by infection from bacteria and Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) which is resistant to several antibiotics. Application therapy of clindamycin (CLY) administration with the oral route has low bioavailability and non-selective distribution of antibiotics towards bacteria intravenously.

Study Design: This is an open-labeled randomized controlled trial (RCT), a part of INOVASIA (Indonesia Pravastatin to Prevent Preeclampsia study) trial. Pregnant women at a high risk of developing PE were recruited and randomized into an intervention group (40) and a control group (40).
Introduction: The Indonesian INOVASIA study is an ongoing multicentre randomized, open controlled trial of pravastatin for the prevention of preeclampsia in patients deemed to be high risk. Here we evaluate the effects of pravastatin on circulating inflammatory and endothelial markers, i.e.
