Our experience in treating ten full-term and six premature infants with esophageal atresia and distal tracheoesophageal fistula was reported. Fourteen cases were treated by a one-stage procedure and two cases by a two-stage procedure. One patient died due to pulmonary infection following the one-stage procedure and one died of septicemia after the two-stage procedure.
