In a survey of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) in the northwest of Iran, eleven isolates of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora were recovered mainly from the soil samples of apple orchards. Introduction: Entamoeba histolytica is a well-known cause of infectious colitis, it has a worldwide distribution. Presentation ranges from mild diarrhea to occasionally frank dysentery and may spread to involve extra intestinal sites such as the liver, lung, and other organs, in the form of amebic abscesses.
