Background: Despite the critical importance of humanized healthcare for transgender individuals, no existing measures specifically assess care humanization for this population. The Transgender Health Care Humanization Scale (THcH Scale) was developed to address this gap, yet it initially lacked confirmatory validation. This study validates the Transgender THcH scale for evaluating healthcare providers' sensitivity towards transgender patients.

The rapid expansion of the biodiesel industry has substantially increased crude glycerol residue (CG) production, creating sustainability and economic challenges due to surplus glycerol generation. Conventional purification methods are costly and environmentally demanding, necessitating innovative strategies to utilize this residue effectively. This study innovates by exploring the microwave-assisted synthesis of carbon dots (CDs) from CG, exemplifying a shift toward sustainable biodiesel production by transforming the residue into a multifunctional material.

The aim of this study was to identify the inflammatory and nutritional status of elderly hemodialysis (HD) and its association with quality of life.
Methods: This study was carried out in health services in three different cities.
Objective: To analyze trends in epidemiological risk of leprosy in Goiás state, Brazil, and its health macro-regions, between 2010 and 2021.
Method: This is a time series analysis of the composite leprosy epidemiological risk index in Goiás. We used cases held on the Notifiable Health Conditions Information System for calculating indicators separately and risk, classified as high, medium, low and very low.
