Pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia (PASH) is a benign but rare mesenchymal proliferation of the mammary stroma, characterized by pseudovascular spaces within a hyperplastic matrix. PASH can be classified as either non-tumor-forming or tumor-forming. The non-tumor-forming type is an infiltrative and clinically undetectable mass, incidentally found in approximately a quarter of breast biopsies.

The Argentinean Pampean region is essential for global food security, known for its extensive production of soybeans, corn, and wheat. The November to January (NDJ) trimester is critical for rainfed summer crops, as precipitation during this period directly affects soil moisture and crop yields. The El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), particularly its Oceanic Niño Index (ONI), plays a crucial role in influencing precipitation patterns in this region.

Increased plasma creatine concentrations are associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes, but whether this alteration is associated with or causal for impairments in metabolism remains unexplored. Because skeletal muscle is the main disposal site of both creatine and glucose, we investigated the role of intramuscular creatine metabolism in the pathophysiology of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes. In men with type 2 diabetes, plasma creatine concentrations were increased, and intramuscular phosphocreatine content was reduced.

Oxidative stress is a widespread causative agent of disease. Together with its general relevance for biomedicine, such a dynamic is recognizably detrimental to space exploration. Among other solutions, cerium oxide nanoparticles (or , NC) display a long-lasting, self-renewable antioxidant activity.

Copper oxide nanowires (NWs) are promising elements for the realization of a wide range of devices for low-power electronics, gas sensors, and energy storage applications, due to their high aspect ratio, low environmental impact, and cost-effective manufacturing. Here, we report on the electrical and thermal properties of copper oxide NWs synthetized through thermal growth directly on copper foil. Structural characterization revealed that the growth process resulted in the formation of vertically aligned NWs on the Cu growth substrate, while the investigation of chemical composition revealed that the NWs were composed of CuO rather than CuO.
