Bedmap3 updated ice bed, surface and thickness gridded datasets for Antarctica.

We present Bedmap3, the latest suite of gridded products describing surface elevation, ice-thickness and the seafloor and subglacial bed elevation of the Antarctic south of 60 °S. Bedmap3 incorporates and adds to all post-1950s datasets previously used for Bedmap2, including 84 new aero-geophysical surveys by 15 data providers, an additional 52 million data points and 1.9 million line-kilometres of measurement.

With the rise in global plastic production and the presence of plastic waste in the environment, microplastics are considered an emerging environmental contaminant. Human exposure and the impact of microplastics on human health are not well studied. Recent studies have observed the presence of microplastics in human tissues and several studies have noted toxicity in in vitro and in vivo mammalian models.

The diagnostic accuracy and feasibility of paediatric visual field tests: A systematic review.

Purpose: Alternative non-standard paediatric visual field (VF) tests have been developed to address the challenges associated with standard approaches. However, diagnostic accuracy of these new VF tests has not yet been rigorously evaluated. This systematic review aims to explore diagnostic accuracy and feasibility of non-standard VF tests in paediatric patients.

Evidence-based Diagnosis and Treatment of Vasa Previa.

Vasa previa is an abnormality of the umbilical cord and fetal membranes that affects ∼1 in 1300 pregnancies. The diagnosis is made by visualization of velamentous fetal vessels coursing within the membranes over the cervix unprotected by Wharton jelly or placenta. When it is not diagnosed prenatally, it is associated with a high risk of fetal death.
