Background: The win ratio analysis method might provide new insight on the impact of positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) on clinical outcomes.
Objective: The aim is to re-analyse the results of the 'Re-evaluation of the effects of high PEEP with recruitment manoeuvres vs. low PEEP without recruitment manoeuvres during general anaesthesia for surgery' (REPEAT) study using the win ratio analysis.

Objective: To analyze factors associated with detectable HIV viremia among transgender women/transvestites (TWT) in five Brazilian capitals.
Methods: : This was a cross-sectional study using data from a sample of TWT with HIV-positive serology and detectable viral load (VL), between 2019 and 2021. The dependent and independent variables were, respectively: viral load measurement, socioeconomic/demographic characteristics; alcohol/drug use; and self-perceived mental health.
A woman in her early 20s with progressive keratoconus underwent corneal collagen cross-linking using the sub400 protocol. The central 5.5 mm of the epithelium was removed after the application of 20% alcohol.

Prophylactic vaccine efficacy is reduced after sexual debut, and current therapeutic intervention candidates designed to treat existing HPV infections or precancerous lesions have yielded insufficient evidence to warrant widespread use. However, we are developing a feasible, scalable, high-quality cervical screening approach that could prevent hundreds of thousands of deaths, while we work to achieve high coverage of one-dose vaccination for adolescent cohorts.
