Introduction: Proximal junctional kyphosis (PJK) is a frequent complication, up to 46%, in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis surgical treatment (AIS). Several risk factors have been evoked but remain controversial. The primary objective of this work was to determine the incidence of subsidence 1 year postoperatively, using an original measurement method, whose validity was first assessed.
