Background: ASA-PS is a widely used perioperative health assessment method, but with poor reproducibility. A novel objective, pediatric-specific risk classification system based on Neurological, Airway, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Other categories and Surgical Severity (NARCO-SS) has been validated in only one US center.

Objective: Independent external validation of the NARCO-SS and comparison with the ASA-PS in predicting perioperative outcomes.

Can treatment for polycystic ovarian disease induce ovarian tumour? A case report.

Polycystic ovarian disease in adolescents is not uncommon. Usually underlying ovarian tumours can cause hirsutism and ovulation. A 15-year-old girl presented with infrequent cycles and hirsutism.

In -silico molecular docking analysis of prodigiosin and cycloprodigiosin as COX-2 inhibitors.

Prodigiosin and cycloprodigiosin are tripyrrole red pigmented compounds with medical importance for their anticancer property. In the present investigation, molecular docking studies were performed for both prodigiosin and cycloprodigiosins to evaluate the in- silico anti-inflammatory activity against Cycloxigenase-2 (COX-2) protein as model compound and the data compared with rofecoxib and celcoxid. Cycloprodigiosin showed higher initial potential, initial RMS gradient and potential energy values compared to prodigiosin.
