Background: Recent studies have focused on treating cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) with corticosteroids primarily mitigating symptoms and reducing the risk of mortality and other cardiovascular complications. A promising new treatment approach involves tumor necrosis factor (TNF) alpha inhibitors.

Methodology: A systematic search was conducted on PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and Elsevier's Science Direct databases to identify studies comparing TNF alpha inhibitors with other drugs in CS patients who had heart failure.

Objective: Burnout is highly prevalent among residents, and although many studied interventions have targeted burnout by trying to promote well-being, it remains a substantial problem. This study utilized data from the Pediatric Resident Burnout-Resilience Study Consortium (PRB-RSC) Annual Burnout Survey to determine which program interventions categorical and noncategorical (medicine-pediatrics and combined programs) pediatric residents found most helpful to promote well-being.

Methods: We conducted a secondary analysis of an open-ended question on the PRB-RSC Annual Burnout Survey in 2019 and 2020: "What is the most helpful thing that your program provides you for wellness?" We performed thematic and content analysis on open-ended responses and compared distribution of themes and subthemes between years using a Chi-square test.

Understanding the intricate interplay between cancer metabolism and intercellular communication within the tumour microenvironment (TME) is crucial for advancing cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. In this study, we investigate the metabolites present in exosomes derived from three distinct cancer cell lines: pancreatic cancer (MiaPaCa-2), lung cancer (A549), and glioma (C6). Exosomes were isolated using ultrafiltration and characterized using a combination of techniques including nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA), electron microscopy (EM), western blotting (WB) and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.

Multiple myeloma is a rare hematological disorder that causes overproduction of plasma cells within the bone marrow, leading to suppressed hematopoiesis, renal insufficiency, bony lesions, and recurrent infections. Patients with multiple myeloma commonly present with anemia. Although rare, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia can also develop in these patients, leading to pancytopenia, as seen in our case.
