Purpose: The goal of the present work was to localize and quantify the actual delivered dose to the cervical spinal cord (SC) during head and neck cancer (H&N) treatment.
Materials And Methods: A total of 20 H&N patients treated with bilateral nodal irradiation with helical tomotherapy (HT) were analyzed. Daily MVCTs were performed for image guidance.
Purpose: To quantify the actual delivered dose to the cervical spinal cord with different image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) approaches during head and neck (HN) cancer helical tomotherapy.
Methods And Materials: Twenty HN patients (HNpts) treated with bilateral nodal irradiation were analyzed. Daily megavoltage computed tomography MVCT) scans were performed for setup purposes.
The behavior of the sex chromosomes during meiosis in the house shrew, Suncus murinus, shows some interesting features. Both X- and Y-chromosomes are large and biarmed and have huge segments of C-band material in noncentromeric areas. A distinct chiasma is formed between the short arms of the X and Y chromosomes and the heterochromatic regions in the bivalents show desynapsis in the form of a bulge.
