Aims: We report a case of delayed all digital flexor tendon ruptures after nonoperative management of distal radius fracture.
Methods: An 84-year-old woman, noted loss of flexion of your fingers. She had a history of Colles' fracture 40 years before, which had been left untreated.
Background: We investigated both the efficacy and the sub-chronic toxicity of Tephrosia toxicaria Pers. in the zymosan-induced temporomandibular joint (TMJ) inflammatory hypernociception in rats evaluating the possible role of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1).
Methods: Rats were pretreated with T.
Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a proliferative disorder of the synovial membrane of uncertain etiology. It commonly affects synovial joints of the appendicular skeleton and rarely affects the spine. We present the case of a young man presenting with a rapidly progressive myelopathy due to spinal cord compression by PVNS arising from a thoracic facet joint, which finally resulted in paraplegia.
