Introduction: Colorectal cancer (CRC) has surged to prominence as the leading cancer affecting men and the second most common affecting women in Saudi Arabia. The need for preventative screening is underscored by the rising prevalence of precancerous polyps, early-stage colorectal cancer, and the fact that these conditions often manifest without symptoms.

Methods: This study utilized a cross-sectional descriptive design and employed data from a sample of 425 residents of Qassim region in Saudi Arabia.

Risk Factors for Opioid Misuse, Abuse, and Dependence Among Pain Clinic Patients: A Cross-Sectional Study at King Khalid University Hospital during 2020.

BACKGROUND Physicians are faced with the risk of patients developing opioid use disorders (OUDs) when prescribing patients opioids for long periods of time. Therefore, it is highly recommended to continuously monitor and evaluate long-term non-cancer pain patients who are prescribed opioids. This study aims to estimate the prevalence of OUDs in 103 patients with active opioid prescriptions attending the Pain Clinic at King Khalid University Hospital.

Introduction The literature informs us that people who are Deaf frequently struggle with health services, which contributes to lower health literacy due to communication and language barriers. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of BS on eating behaviour, prevalence of nutrient deficiency, level of commitment to diet, and lifestyle recommendations one-year post-BS. A cross-sectional study was conducted among adult patients who underwent BS in 2019 and had follow-up for a year.
