Objective: This study aimed to establish an optimal model based on machine learning (ML) to predict Valproic acid (VPA) trough concentrations in Chinese adult epilepsy patients.
Methods: A single-center retrospective study was carried out at the Jinshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University from January 2022 to December 2023. A total of 102 VPA trough concentrations were split into a derivation cohort and a validation cohort at a ratio of 8:2.
Osmotic stress caused by drought, salinity, or cold conditions is an important abiotic factor that decreases membrane integrity and causes cell death, thus decreasing plant growth and productivity. Remodeling cell membrane composition via lipid turnover can counter the loss of membrane integrity and cell death caused by osmotic stress. Sphingolipids are important components of eukaryotic membrane systems; however, how sphingolipids participate in plant responses to osmotic stress remains unclear.

Yet, it remains unexplored whether maternal circadian rhythms during pregnancy influence fetal rhythms and impact long-term susceptibility to dietary challenges in offspring. Here, we demonstrate that circadian disruption during pregnancy decreased placental and neonatal weight yet retained transcriptional and structural maturation.

Herein, a highly efficient RuO catalysts via a facile hydrolysis-annealing approach is reported for water electrolysis. The RuO catalyst dealt with at 200 °C (RuO-200) performs the highest activities on both oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in acid with overpotentials of 200 mV for OER and 66 mV for HER to reach a current density of 100 mA cm as well as stable operation for100 h.
