Unlabelled: Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is an alternative treatment for craniofacial bone defects reconstruction through membrane barrier adaptation, such as demineralized dentin material membrane (DDMM). DDMM is used as a substitute for GBR material, which aligns with Green Economy principles, it has a good biological osteoinductive and osteoconductive effects, and its structure resembles bones. The balance of bone remodeling when experiencing craniofacial defects will be altered and allow changes to resorption activity, so the mechanisms of osteoclastogenesis and bone resorption are vital.

Synthesis of Novel Soritin Sulfonamide Derivatives as Potential α-Glucosidase Inhibitor and Their Molecular Docking Studies.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is linked to various factors causing cardiovascular diseases, with uncontrolled postprandial hyperglycemia being a direct contributor. α-Glucosidase inhibitors (AGIs) aid in reducing postprandial hyperglycemia, potentially mitigating cardiovascular risks. In order to synthesize novel chemical scaffolds with possible α-glucosidase inhibition activity, a series of novel soritin sulfonamide derivatives were synthesized.

Chemical and physical properties of radiopaque Portland cement formulation with reduced particle size.

This study compared the chemical and physical properties of an experimental radiopaque white Portland cement (REPC) with reduced particle size to ProRoot white mineral trioxide aggregate (WMTA). The particle size distribution of experimental Portland cement (EPC) was examined, and then nano-zirconium oxide (nano-ZrO) was added to produce REPC. Chemical analysis, initial setting time, pH values, and push-out bond strength were evaluated.

The performance of anchovy purse seine in the North Coastal Java Sea, Indonesia.

Small pelagic fishes including anchovies in Indonesia are caught by using different types of fishing gears. However, the anchovy purse seine commonly used polyethylene (PE) as material webbing which is less effective in the North Coastal Java Sea. This study aims to describe the design and construction of the anchovy purse seine and the characteristics of this gear construction.
