[Peripheral nerves' function recovery by intratissual electric stimulation].

Unlabelled: An intratissual electrical stimulation, accompanied by irritation of their central neurons, is used to recover the function of damaged peripheral nerves. Treatment results exceeded those with the use of cutaneous electrical stimulation, which is confirmed by comparative results of trial animal experiments. The time and quality of peripheral nerves' function recovery in comparison of intratissual and cutaneous electrical stimulation methods remain unknown.

[Marks on the human and animal skin after contact with an electrical discharge device].

Skin injuries in a subject affected by the current generated in an electrical discharge device are described. The macroscopic and microscopic picture of the injuries inflicted with the use of a similar device in experimental animals is presented.

[Infective endocarditis: the course].

Aim: Epidemiological analysis of mortality due to infectious endocarditis (IE) and the disease evolution.

Material And Methods: A retrospective analysis was made of 109 IE lethal outcomes for 1987-1996 basing on the results of autopsies performed in Kemerovo prosectorium.

Results: A significant trend to a rise in death rate of IE was registered.
