NEUROPROTECTIVE AND ANTIOXIDANT POTENTIAL OF MONTELUKAST-ACETYLCYSTEINE COMBINATION THERAPY FOR BRAIN PROTECTION IN PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 INDUCED PNEUMONIA.

Direct critical attack of the coronavirus on the alveoli and the excessive release of a large number of cytokines (IL-6, IL-1, TNF-α, etc.) provides suitable conditions for the further development of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and severe acute respiratory failure. Serious decrease in blood oxygenation often lead to the deterioration of macro- and microcirculation, irreversible brain damage and hence, persistent neurological and mental disorders despite background intensive therapy and adequate respiratory support.

Cerebrovascular diseases of ischemic origin still remain the leading cause of death and disability of the population. In acute cerebral discirculation conditions, anaerobic glycolysis is activated, ATP formation rate decreases, the ion pumps work is disrupted and superoxide radicals are formed. Eventually, ionic asymmetry leads to the cytotoxic and vasogenic brain edema.

[Deheterochromatinization of the chromatin in old age induced by oligopeptide bioregulator (Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro)].

In this work is presented the data on the variability of the functional characteristics of the chromosomes in the cells exposed by oligopeptide bioregulator - Prostamax from old individuals (75-86 years). Evaluated: the frequency of sister chromatid exchanges (SCE); Ag-positive NORs (in associations and nonassociations), as well as the variability of the structural C-pericentromeric heterochromatin. Prostamax changed the chromosomal parameters: 1) increased the frequency of SCE to 12,0±0,28 exchange in per cell (in intact cells - 5,9±0,2); 2) increased the frequency of Ag-positive NORs to 2.

Genetic changes induced by the pesticide Ridomol in the soybeans sprouted from the seeds of different ages.

An objective of presented study was to investigate the effect of the genetically active xenobiotics Ridomili on the genetic apparatus of the plants sprouted from the soybean seeds of different ages. The experiments were conducted on the soybean (Glycine max) genetic line L65-1237. The studies were performed on the 1-, 2- or 3- year old seeds of the heterozygous Y(11)y(11) plants.

[Gastroprotective properties of phytomedicine tiol].

Phitopreparation tiol is offered (5% fatty solution of Tea Leaf lipid complex) as a medicine. To determine gastroprotective effect of tiol generally accepted models of acute gastric ulcer were used: bitadion, atopanove and reserprinove stomach damages. An experiment was conducted on half-matured white mice weighting 140-160 g.
