Background: Handoffs and documentation are a potentially modifiable source of medical error. However, little attention has been given toenhancementof these within the neurosurgical field. Limited treatment modalities exist that provide meaningful relief, including pharmacological treatments and spinal cord stimulation that are rarely successful for refractory cases.
