In this study, the water extract and the isolated compounds from guava leaves were evaluated for α-glucosidase inhibition using spectrophotometric method. Ellagic acid, quercetin, quercetin-3-O-glucuronide, avicularin, isoquercitrin, and quercetin-3-galactoside showed α-glucosidase inhibitory activity, and their IC value were 25.

Delayed Diagnosis of Wilson's Disease Report From 179 Newly Diagnosed Cases in China.

Objective: To analyze the initial symptom and the cause of the misdiagnosis of Wilson's Disease (WD) so as to enhance awareness of this condition and reduce diagnostic errors.

Methods: The clinical data of 179 patients with the confirmed diagnosis of WD who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from October 2014 to September 2021 were analyzed. Those patients who had attended two or more hospitals, had been misdiagnosed as other diseases, or failed to get a clear diagnosis for 3 months and over before hospitalization were included in the group of clinical misdiagnosis or the group without a definite diagnosis.

[Combined ulnar shortening osteotomy and elastic suspended fixation in treatment of ulnar impaction syndrome].

Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of ulnar shortening osteotomy combined with elastic suspension fixation for ulnar impaction syndrome caused by relatively long ulna.

Methods: Between October 2015 and August 2016, 3 cases of ulnar impaction syndrome were treated. One patient was male and 2 patients were females.
