We focused on evaluating the effect of top-line single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in SLC6A2 and CYP2D6 on the ATX treatment response in attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Methods: Of 160 patient records, 34 patients who met the inclusion criteria were evaluated to determine the relationship between genotypes of ten SNPs (six of SLC6A2 and four of CYP2D6) and ATX treatment response.
Background: After an ankle sprain, the ligament and joint capsule are damaged, and as a result, proprioceptive sense is damaged, causing a feeling of giving away in the ankle and resulting in recurrent sprains. Given the relevant studies, it has been seen that people with chronic ankle instability (CAI) commonly have deficits in joint position sense and reinjury risks. Joint position sense plays an important role in ankle control, thereby reducing the risk of injury.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of IGD on spine biomechanics, range of motion in the neck and low back, and lung functions and respiratory muscle strength in children and adolescents.
Methods: Sixty-four children and adolescents with IGD (Group I) and 41 healthy controls (Group II) were included in the study.
The aim of this study is to determine the functioning of adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) diagnosed in childhood and depression and burnout levels among their parents. A total of 261 adults with ASDs and their parents were recruited for the study. Both parents completed the Beck Depression and Maslach Burnout Inventories and reported the functioning of their adult offspring with ASDs.

Objectives: This report discusses the emergence, clinical appearance, and treatment of the rare entity Capgras syndrome (CS) in an adolescent diagnosed with autism.
Methods: After a brief introduction to the CS, we conduct a detailed description of the case and review, after a search on the PubMed database, the known pathophysiology, psychiatric disorders associated with the onset of this syndrome, and the management of CS.
Results: Capgras syndrome generally emerges during the course of delusional disorder, schizophrenia, or mood disorders, and for reasons such as neurological, infectious, or endocrinological diseases, drug intoxications, or deprivation.

Objectives: We aimed to investigate the characteristics of adolescents with Bipolar disorder-I with irritability and agitation (Mania+IA) compared to those without irritability and agitation (Mania-IA) in a multi-center representative sample.
Methods: Data of 145 patients from three tertiary-care inpatient units between 2016 and 2021 were obtained. Psychomotor agitation was defined as a score of ≥3 on the YMRS "Increased Motor Activity--Energy" item, irritability as a score of ≥4 on the YMRS 'irritability' item, and severity anchors of speech and thought disturbance on the YMRS '6 and 7' items.
Background/introduction: Emotion detection classifiers traditionally predict discrete emotions. However, emotion expressions are often subjective, thus requiring a method to handle compound and ambiguous labels. We explore the feasibility of using crowdsourcing to acquire reliable soft-target labels and evaluate an emotion detection classifier trained with these labels.

Methods: We evaluated 58 ASD-diagnosed children's temperaments through disorder severity and psychiatric symptoms and compared them with 58 typically developed children. We utilized the Children's Behavior Questionnaire-Short Form, The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ).
Chia, amaranth, quinoa and buckwheat grains have been widely used in food formulations because of their high and balanced nutritional properties. Since all grains are not equally nutritious, there is a requirement for comparing the health-related effects and processing performance of a variety of whole grains. The expected glycemic index (eGI) flours of chia was determined to be quite low, and flours except quinoa can be classified as low GI foods.

In the literature, there is no study that investigates the platelet functions in diabetic patients with SSNHL.
Methods: The patients were retrospectively assigned into Group 1 (68 diabetic patients with SSNHL), Group 2 (63 nondiabetic patients with SSNHL) and Group 3 (64 healthy controls).
